A delegation of the Lao Front for National Construction Committee of Luang Prabang province led by its President Bunxom Khunmani paid a courtesy visit to leaders of Hoa Binh province on December 17.
The delegation
was received by Bui Duc Hinh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party
Committee, and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council; Bui Tien Luc,
Chairman of the provincial Party Committee’s Board for Mass Mobilisation and
President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoa Binh province; and
Dinh Cong Su, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee.

Hinh informed the guests on local socio-economic development and cooperation
between Hoa Binh province and Laos, saying the visit took place in the context
that the friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between
the two countries are growing fruitfully.
The official expressed his hope that Hoa Binh and Luang Prabang provinces will
enhance exchanges and experience sharing in policy making, and socio-economic
development.
For his part, Bunxom Khunmani congratulated Hoa Binh on its achievements in
socio-economic development, Party building, external relations, and national
defence and security.
He noted his hope for more cooperation programmes and further mutual support in
development in the time ahead.

The delegation was welcomed by Hoang Thuy Duong, Consul General of Vietnam in the city, and staff members of the consulate.
