(HBO) – During the past years, Tan Lac district has widely deployed the movement of Uniting All People to build a cultural life.


The performance team of Phong Phu commune is performing at the Muong Bi Khai Ha Festival (The Festival to start cultivating or Forest Opening) in 2019.

In 2018, in the whole district there were 16,546 households received the title of the cultural families, 153 residential areas were culturally recognized, 165 agencies were recognized to meet the cultural standards and 100% of hamlets and residential areas reviewed, amended and supplemented the regulations and conventions. Cultural and sports institutions in the locality have been paid attention, integrating many construction investment capital sources, together with the people's money and labour force. Up till now 182 hamlets and residential areas in the district have had the cultural houses and the sports areas, 37 hamlets, residential areas have had the cultural houses and the standard sport areas, 4 communes have had the standard cultural houses and sports areas, reaching 16.7%. The district maintains and develops 24,840 people practicing regular physical training and sports, 8,050 people achieve the standard training regime, 4,700 sports households, and 75 sports clubs.

Mr. Bui Minh Hong, the head of Tan Lac Department of Culture and Sports says that the district’s Steering Committee has directed the commune’s and township’s Steering Committees to closely follow the instructions of the superiors to implement the contents of the literary life movement associated with new rural construction. The criteria of the movement are deployed to each village and hamlet so that people know and implement. Every year, the Steering Committee sets out the appropriate requirements and contents to develop an action plan that is close to reality, at the same time it inherits and promotes the cultural values ​​of each locality, thereby stimulating the pride, the community, the people’s self-management to build a healthy cultural life and a new countryside.

The movement of all people registering to build a cultural life has become a general movement closely associated with all sectors and fields. It is favored by the people of all strata and it is voluntarily implemented. The activities of the movement are implemented in a timely manner, bringing the practical effects in improving the material and spiritual life for the people. In order for all people to participate in the movement, the Steering Committee at all levels has done well the propaganda, raising the awareness of each citizen about the responsibility and meaning of the movement. As a result of this, people have voluntarily registered to build cultural families, residential areas and agencies. They have also propagated and mobilized other people to participate in the movement.
