HBO - Referring to Kim Boi is mentioning the land with the beautiful natural landscapes, the unique cultural identity and many traditional festivals. In particular, the district has a source of the hot mineral water which is considered one of the best mineral water sources in Southeast Asia. Currently, there are five cultural and historical relics at the national and provincial level in the district. In 2018, the proportion of the service and tourism industry of Kim Boi accounted for 50.62%, the largest contribution to the added value in the total economic structure of the whole district. It also indicates that this can become an economic spearhead in the coming time.
In the recent years, the Party Committee and People's Committee of Kim Boi district have directed the appropriate authorities to strengthen the propaganda and the promotion of the local tourism potentials and advantages. In 2017, the People's Committee of the district issued a Decision approving the project of tourism development in Kim Boi district in the period of 2017-2020 with a vision to 2030 to make the district become an attractive tourist destination of the province and the surrounding areas with its typical products. They are the eco-tourism and the relaxation associated with understanding the cultural identity of Muong ethnic people.

Since implementing the Scheme and strengthening the propaganda and the promotion on mass media as well as on the tourism website, Kim Boi district has attracted 5 investors to build the resorts. The district has also created the favorable conditions for land and environment to facilitate the enterprises to build infrastructure, attracting investment in tourism development. Up till now, many high-class eco-resorts and resorts such as Serena Resort in Sao Bay commune, V’Resort in Vinh Tien commune, Kim Boi mineral springs tourism, the eco-tourism area of the Sun waterfall and so on have come into operation. In 2018, the whole district welcomed over 215,700 turns of visitors, of which there were 15.300 turns of the international visitors. The total income from tourism reached 145,158 billion VND, paying 18,425 billion VND to the state budget.
The goal of Kim Boi district in the coming time is to develop the high quality tourism, forming a high-class resort model combining with the community tourism.
