The People’s Committee of Luong Son district on November 21 held a ceremony to announce the recognition of Lai Tri communal house in Thanh Cao commune as a provincial-level historical relic site, and hand over the certificate to leaders of Thanh Cao commune.


Authorised by Hoa Binh leaders, leaders of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism hand over the certificate recognising Lai Tri communal house as a provincial-level historical relic site to representatives of Thanh Cao commune.


Lai Tri communal house is restored in its primary location in an area of nearly 2,500 sq.m. A lotus pond and a massive rice field in the front of the communal house create a harmonious beauty of the site. Lai Tri communal house worships three Tan Vien Mountain Gods who helped develop the land.

The ceremony to announce and hand over the certificate recognising the site as an important cultural event of Thanh Cao commune and Luong Son district.

Currently, Luong Son has 16 honoured relic sites, including eight at the provincial level and the rest at the national level. With the recognition, Lai Tri communal house relic site, together with other local relics, will form spiritual tours to attract visitors.

The recognition of the site as a provincial-level historical relic is also expected to enhance the awareness of local officials, Party members and community in developing the traditional culture of Vietnam, meeting the requirements of the country’s sustainable development./.
