(HBO) – The volleyball championship of the northern mountainous province of Hoa Binh opened in Lac Son district on August 21. After three days of competition, the closing ceremony of the tournament took place in the district on August 23.

During the three days, athletes offered great and interesting matches with many exciting rallies to the audience. At the end, Lac Son district triumphed in men’s volleyball, while the provincial police ranked second and the third place went to Kim Boi and Yen Thuy districts.
In women’s category, Kim Boi district secured the top position, followed by Lac Son district. Meanwhile, Luong Son district and Hoa Binh city claimed the third prize.
In addition, organisers presented style award to Yen Thuy men’s team, Da Bac women’s team and collective movement award to Luong Son district./.

At the Hoa Binh provincial sports arena, the Organizing Committee of the 8th Hoa Binh City Sports Festival 2025 held youth and championship crossbow shooting, tug of war, and stick pushing tournaments.
Enforcement Departments of 7 Provinces in the Northeastern and Mountainous Regions
On February 19th, at the Hoa Binh Province Sports Hall, the Cluster of Judicial Departments and Civil Judgment Enforcement Departments of 7 provinces in the Northeastern and Mountainous regions, including Hoa Binh, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Bac Kan, Yen Bai, Bac Giang and Phu Tho organized a friendly sports competition. A total of 52 athletes from the provinces in the cluster participated in the competition.

The dramatic match ended in a 0-0 draw when no goals were scored.
