(HBO) – Cao Phong district of Hoa Binh has organised its traditional cross-country race attracting about 120 local runners this year.

The runners came from 23 teams from communes, towns and schools in
the district, including 68 male and 47 female athletes. They competed in the
7km race for men, 5km races for young
men and women and 3km event for young women.
After the run, the organising board awarded four first, four
second and four third prizes alongside 16 consolation prizes for winners at all
the events. The first prizes went to Bui Van Hieu from Tan Phong commune in the
men’s 7km event, Bui Thi Minh from Dong Phong commune in the women’s 5km event,
Bui Thi Nghia from Nam Phong Secondary School in the young women’s 3km event,
and Nguyen Viet Hung from Cao Phong Township Secondary School in the young men’s
5km event.
For the team awards, the first prize for the men’s category was
claimed by Thach Yen High School, followed by Xuan Phong commune in the second
place while the women category’s first prize was won by Dong Phong commune,
followed by Tan Phong commune and Thach Yen High School.
In the young athletes’ categories, the male team’s first prize
went to Cao Phong school for ethnic minority students, followed by Cao Phong
Township Secondary School in the second place and Bac Phong Secondary School in
the third place. The female team’s first prize was earned by Cao Phong school
for ethnic minority students, followed by Yen Lap commune and Bac Phong
Secondary School./.

In the afternoon of January 18th, at Hoa Binh Provincial Stadium, Hoa Binh Football Club (Hoa Binh FC) played against Hue Football Club (Hue FC) in the 6th round of the National First Division Football Tournament - Bia Sao Vang, 2024-2025 tournament.
After two tense and dramatic halves of the final round of the ASEAN Cup 2024, the Vietnamese football team played excellently, winning convincingly with a score of 3-2 and being crowned champions with total score of 5-3 against opponent Thailand.
After the final whistle of the second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2024 semi-final between Vietnamese team and Singaporian team sounded, thousands of football fans in Hoa Binh City burst into the joy of victory. Vietnamese team officially won a ticket to the final of the ASEAN Cup 2024 with a 3-1 victory (the total score after 2 semi-final matches is 5-1) against Singapore.
Hoa Binh Football Club (Hoa Binh FC) has just organized a special friendly match, combined with a tour and cultural exploration in Mai Chau district.
