Millions of fans across Vietnam poured down streets to celebrate with extreme joy after the national football team beat Jordan 4-2 on penalties on January 20 to storm into the 2019 Asian Cup quarterfinals.


Despite being led in the first half, Park Hang-seo’s side maintained their patience and fought bravely to equalise the score after break, before forcing the West Asian opponents to surrender in the nail-biting penalty shoot-out.
