(HBO) – The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hoa Binh province partnered with the local Elderly Association to organize a soft volleyball tournament for the elderly on August 29-31.

The tournament drew approximately 300 players
from 11 men’s and 11 women’s teams across the province who competed in 36
matches.
The players have excited audiences with great
performances, upholding spirit of sport and for the benefit of health. The
matches have attracted a large crowd of spectators.

Kim Boi district won the first place in both the
women’s and men’s events.
In the women’s event, Yen Thuy district earned
the silver medal while Ky Son and Luong Son finished the third. In the men’s
category, Tan Lac district ranked second while Hoa Binh city and Mai Chau
district shared the third prize.
In general, Kim Boi was awarded the first prize
for the entire team, followed by Yen Thuy and Tan Lac.
