Juve win after two sent off and Napoli miss late penalty

Serie A leaders Juventus held on to win 2-1 at Napoli in a stormy top-of-the-table clash on Sunday which saw both teams have a player sent off and Lorenzo Insigne miss a late penalty for the hosts.

The win, courtesy of goals from Miralem Pjanic and Emre Can, took Juve 16 points clear of Napoli and almost certainly wrapped up an eighth straight title for the unbeaten Turin giants who have 72 points out of a possible 78 with 12 games left.

* Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah has been re-elected president of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). The long-serving OCA boss was re-elected unanimously for an eighth term at the OCA general assembly in Bangkok, the OCA said in a statement on Monday.

* China's Shantou has been awarded the hosting right to the 2021 Asian Youth Games as a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in Bangkok on Sunday. The MoU was signed between the Olympic Council of Asia and the Shantou municipal government on the hosting of the third Asian Youth Games in 2021, following its previous two editions in Singapore in 2009 and in Nanjing, China in 2013.

* Yannick Carrasco's stoppage-time strike salvaged a point for 10 man Dalian Yifang as they secured a 1-1 Chinese Super League draw with Henan Jianye on Sunday in their opening game of the season.

* Brendan Rodgers' first match as Leicester boss ended in a dramatic defeat on Sunday as Andre Gray scored in stoppage time to give Watford a 2-1 win at Vicarage Road.

* Argentine Guido Pella claimed his first ATP title when he beat Christian Garin 7-5 6-3 to win the Brasil Open in Sao Paulo on Sunday.

* Mario Balotelli scored a superbly acrobatic volley and Florian Thauvin added a penalty to give Olympique de Marseille a 2-0 win over a toothless St Etienne on Sunday that lifted them above their visitors and into fourth place in Ligue 1.

* Ethiopian Yomif Kejelcha broke the world indoor mile record when he clocked three minutes 47.01 seconds during an invitational meet in Boston on Sunday. The 21-year-old smashed the 22-year-old record of 3:48.45 set by Morocco's Hicham El Guerrouj in 1997.

* First-half goals from Gonzalo Higuain and Jorginho earned Chelsea a 2-1 win over struggling Fulham in an entertaining southwest London Premier League derby on Sunday.
