65 athletes compete in Hoa Binh city’s table-tennis tourney

HBO – The table-tennis club of Hoa Binh city recently held an open tournament for table-tennis clubs to mark the 73rd anniversary of the Vietnam Sports Day (March 27, 1946 - 2019).

The tourney, the third of its kind held by the Hoa Binh city table-tennis club, drew the participation of 65 athletes of eight clubs from the districts of Yen Thuy, Da Bac, Mai Chau, Kim Boi, along with the Hoa Binh city club, club for pensioners, Hai Hoa club and Nha may (Factory) club.

The athletes compete in five events: teams, men’s singles, women’s singles, men’s doubles and mixed doubles. After one day of the competition with various exciting matches, prizes were presented in those events.

The tournament drew attention of people and athletes in the province. It offered chances for local table-tennis players to compete and exchange experiences, thus contributing to the development of the sport in the city and province.

Enforcement Departments of 7 Provinces in the Northeastern and Mountainous Regions On February 19th, at the Hoa Binh Province Sports Hall, the Cluster of Judicial Departments and Civil Judgment Enforcement Departments of 7 provinces in the Northeastern and Mountainous regions, including Hoa Binh, Thai Nguyen, Tuyen Quang, Bac Kan, Yen Bai, Bac Giang and Phu Tho organized a friendly sports competition. A total of 52 athletes from the provinces in the cluster participated in the competition.

Hoa Binh FC draws with Long An FC at home stadium

At 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 16th, at Hoa Binh Provincial Stadium, Hoa Binh Football Club (Hoa Binh FC) played against Long An Football Club (Long An FC) in round 9 of the National First Division Football Tournament - Bia Sao Vang, 2024 - 2025. The dramatic match ended in a 0-0 draw when no goals were scored.
