Over 80 athletes compete in badminton, table-tennis tourney in Tan Lac

(HBO) - The Centre for Culture, Sports and Information of Tan Lac district, Hoa Binh province, organised the 2019 badminton and table-tennis championship on April 24-25.

The sporting event drew the participation of more than 80 athletes from 35 teams of local communes, towns, agencies, sectors, organisations, sport clubs and centrally-run units in the province.

Athletes compete in men’s doubles of table tennis.

After two days of the competition, the organising board presented awards to athletes with outstanding achievements.

The 2019 badminton and table-tennis championship of Tan Lac district was part of activities commemorating the 44th year of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30) and 133rd May Day (May 1). In addition, through the tournament, aspiring athletes will be chosen and trained to vie for other competitions of Hoa Binh province./.

A total of 52 athletes from the provinces in the cluster participated in the competition.

Hoa Binh FC draws with Long An FC at home stadium

At 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 16th, at Hoa Binh Provincial Stadium, Hoa Binh Football Club (Hoa Binh FC) played against Long An Football Club (Long An FC) in round 9 of the National First Division Football Tournament - Bia Sao Vang, 2024 - 2025. The dramatic match ended in a 0-0 draw when no goals were scored.
