(HBO) - On May 7th, in Hoa Binh City, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the First Open Cycling Championship of Hoa Binh Province in 2022 for the Cup of Connecting Big Arms. Mr. Bui Duc Hinh, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Mr. Vo Ngoc Kien, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council and the representatives of Vietnam Cycling and Sports Motor Union.

People's Council is presenting the trophies, the medals and the flags to
athletes who achieved high results in the women's content.
The male athletes are competing
at the First Open Cycling Championship of Hoa Binh province in 2022 for the Cup
of Connecting Big Arms.
The championship has attracted
the participation of more than 300 male and female athletes from 35 cycling
clubs all over the country. The athletes competed in 4 individual and team
events, including the event for the men aged up to 39, the one for men 40 - 55
years old, the one for men aged over 56 years, and women.
Hoa Binh province is honored to
host the cycling competition in the program of the 31st Southeast Asian Games
(SEA Games 31), the athletes can compete on the route of the companion content
race at SEA Games 31. Thereby, it has been contributing to promoting the
movement of physical training and sports in general and cycling in particular;
it has also been promoting the campaign "All people train the bodies following
the great example of Uncle Ho”, creating a useful and healthy playground for
bicycle lovers in the province to exchange and cultivate experiences... At the
same time, it helps promote tourism potential and introduce Hoa Binh culture.
This is also a good condition for the departments, the branches and the units
of the province to practice and draw experience to serve the hosting event of
the cycling competition at SEA Games 31.
After a morning of exciting,
fierce and attractive competition, at the end of the tournament, the Organizing
Committee awarded the trophies, the medals and the flags to the individuals and
the teams with high results. The specific results (mentioning only the first
prizes), for the women's content the individual prizes: Nguyen Thi Mai (Hanoi
Mimeco Bicycle Club); The team prize: Trung Thanh Club. For the male content
aged up to 39 years old, the individual prize: Nguyen Phuc Hao (Hanoi Mimeco
Bicycle Club); The team prize: T2 Cycling Club. For the men's content aged 40 -
55 years old, the individual prize: Le Van Bao (Sam Son Bicycle Club); The team
prize: T2 Cycling Club. For the men's content aged 56 years or older, the
individual prize: Dam Tuan Son (T2 Cycling Club); The team prize: T2 Cycling
Club.
In addition, the Organizing
Committee awarded the prize to the elderly male athlete: Luu Cong Nam, born in
1946 (the Bicycle Club of Nam Dinh City); The elderly female athlete: Doan Thi
Tho, born in 1961 (Thai Binh Xanh Bicycle Club). The sponsors also gave the
meaningful gifts to the excellent athletes.
Along with promoting the spirit of volunteerism and completing the core tasks of the Youth Communist Union and the youth movement, in recent years, the Youth Communist Union at all levels in the province has regularly organized the movement of physical exercise and sports attracting the participation of a large number of union members and young people. These activities help the union members and the young people raise their awareness of self-training, improving their health, and building a healthy lifestyle and they are also a solution to attract and gather the young people in many localities.

In the afternoon of January 18th, at Hoa Binh Provincial Stadium, Hoa Binh Football Club (Hoa Binh FC) played against Hue Football Club (Hue FC) in the 6th round of the National First Division Football Tournament - Bia Sao Vang, 2024-2025 tournament.
After two tense and dramatic halves of the final round of the ASEAN Cup 2024, the Vietnamese football team played excellently, winning convincingly with a score of 3-2 and being crowned champions with total score of 5-3 against opponent Thailand.
After the final whistle of the second leg of the ASEAN Cup 2024 semi-final between Vietnamese team and Singaporian team sounded, thousands of football fans in Hoa Binh City burst into the joy of victory. Vietnamese team officially won a ticket to the final of the ASEAN Cup 2024 with a 3-1 victory (the total score after 2 semi-final matches is 5-1) against Singapore.
Hoa Binh Football Club (Hoa Binh FC) has just organized a special friendly match, combined with a tour and cultural exploration in Mai Chau district. This activity aims to strengthen solidarity and exchange between the players and the community, and at the same time, it introduces the cultural beauty of Hoa Binh province.
