Nhat Tan peach blossoms boast beauty ahead of Tet

As there is only one month left before the Tet (lunar New Year) holiday, Nhat tan villagers in Hanoi are gearing up to prepare peach blossoms to meet customers’ demand for the traditional festival.

Nhat Tan flower village is one of the most famous and largest flower baskets in Hanoi.

Thuy, 49, who has around 30 years of work experience, said that during these days, she has to hire 10 employees to take care of the peach trees and transported peach trees and branches for customers.

Different from Thuy, Dung, 56, decided to take care of his trees by himself

A gardener plucking mushrooms and pruning dead leaves to help the trees produce new buds.

Son, a 44-year-old villager, said that in addition to selling peach trees, he also leases them during Tet.

The appearance of Hoa Binh city as a Class II urban area

The Ministry of Construction recently conducted an appraisal and evaluation of the proposal to recognize Hoa Binh City as a Class II urban area under Hoa Binh Province. The appraisal council agreed that Hoa Binh City meets the criteria for a Class II urban area with a score of 84.16 out of 100.
