Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Hoa Binh Party Committee, visited and extended his congratulations to the staff at the Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh on the occasion of the 42nd Vietnam Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982-2024).

Accompanying him were Nguyen Van Chuong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, and leaders of the provincial Party Committee’s Office and the provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Information and Education.

The education sector of Hoa Binh currently employs over 18,500 administrators, teachers, and staff. Over the past years, the sector has achieved significant milestones. In the 2023-2024 school year, the high school graduation rate reached 99.5%. In 2023, the department developed and implemented a plan for the rotation of managerial staff within its units. The department has implemented decisive measures to improve the quality of education, increase high school graduation rates, and boost national student competition results. The quality of education has been strengthened and reinforced.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Long extended his best wishes to the staff of the department, as well as to all teachers and staff in the province’s education sector on the occasion of Vietnam Teachers' Day. He expressed deep gratitude for their contributions to the development of education in the province.

He acknowledged and highly appreciated the continuous efforts and the positive results the sector has achieved. Looking ahead, he emphasised the need for the sector to meet the demands of educational innovation, including further training, development, and planning for educational staff, improving facilities in schools, and focusing on policies for teachers and students. He called for efforts to overcome challenges, fostering unity, and striving to complete tasks effectively, thereby contributing to raising public awareness, training human resources, and advancing the socio-economic development of the local area.
