The Agricultural Production and Business
Cooperative 0789 of Thanh Hoi Commune (Tan Lac) ensures the production of good
quality forestry seedlings, serving the production and forest planting needs of
the people.
The management, inspection, supervision, and
strengthening the human and material resources to be ready to respond to forest
fires have been strengthened. Inspecting and supervising the forest product
processing and trading establishments have been carried out, guiding the
establishments to update the information on the origin, import and export of
forest products, and raising wild animals... in accordance with the
regulations.
The estimated value of the forestry
production at the comparable prices for the whole year is 1.32 trillion VND,
increasing 5.4% compared to that of the same period. Regarding forest planting,
the functional sector has urged the localities to implement the plan and
project targets on forest planting. During the year, in the whole province 9.07
thousand hectares of concentrated forests were planted, reaching 164% of the
plan and nearly 1.2 million scattered trees ưaas planted, reaching 132% of the
plan.
The units continued to monitor and manage
well 452 outstanding trees of all kinds; 0.26 hectares of parent tree gardens;
2.4 hectares of seed gardens; 20 hectares of transformed seed forests, all the
seed sources ensure the quality for harvesting materials for seed production.
Over 22 million seedlings for forest planting was produced in the whole
province, reaching 138% of the plan.
In forest exploitation activities, the
localities have exploited 11.3 thousand hectares of forest; exploited 439,000
ste of firewood; 3.43 million bamboo trees and 8.2 thousand tons of fresh
bamboo shoots of all kinds; about 930 tons of medicinal herbs and more than 4.9
tons of wild honey... The total income from forests of organizations and households
in the whole province is 1.162 billion VND.
