(HBO) – In Cao Thang commune, the Luong Son district chapter of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMCYU) has begun the Month of Youth 2018. Leaders of the Hoa Binh and Luong Son HCMCYU chapters and 500 HCMCYU members across the district attended the launching event.
Following a plan set by the Hoa Binh HCMCYU’s standing committee,
the Luong Son HCMCYU will carry out activities based on seven categories,
including launching communications campaigns highlighting the tradition and
history of the HCMCYU, achievements and resolutions of the HCMCYU; engaging in
rural infrastructure building, environmental protection, afforestation,
technology transfer; building civilized urban areas; and supporting startups.

At the ceremony, the Luong Son HCMCYU’s standing committee
presented gifts to disadvantaged students and families in the commune, and took
part in tree planting and rural road building activities in response to the
Month of Youth./.

In recent years, An Nghia commune, located in Lac Son district, has stepped up administrative reform, focusing on improving the quality and efficiency of its single-window service unit for receiving and processing administrative procedures. These improvements have helped create favourable conditions for local residents and organisations to handle administrative procedures, contributing to the commune’s broader socio-economic development.
The Prime Minister-approved master plan to develop the multi-use value of forests ecosystems through 2030, with a vision to 2050, aims to improve the management and sustainable use of forest resources, create jobs, increase incomes, and improve the living standards of ethnic minorities, people in mountainous and remote areas, forest workers and those living near forests.
