(HBO) - The Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (DOLISA) has cooperated with the People's Committee of Tan Lac District to hold the launching ceremony of the Action Month for Children. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong - Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee.

The Action Month for Children this year was launched with the
theme "For a safe, healthy life for children in the digital world".
The Action
Month for Children in 2018 will focus on the contents of: Propaganda, awareness
raising for all people on responsibility for child care and protection, telecommunication
on Children's Law and guiding documents of implementing the Children's Law, telecommunication
and promotion about products of ensuring the safety and health for children in
the world of digital technology and protecting children from the network
environment, organizing a safe, healthy summer holiday for children, mobilizing
resources from organizations and individuals to build works, entertainment and
sports facilities for children; giving gifts, giving scholarships to poor
children, children in particularly difficult circumstances.
Speaking at
the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Chuong, Vice Chairman of the provincial
People's Committee affirmed that the protection, care and education of
children, ensuring the basic rights of children is a great content that is always
under the local authorities concern. Children in the province have enjoyed
their rights more fully. In the whole province, 97.6% of communes and wards have
met standards of communes and wards suitable for children. In order to continue
the good work of child protection and care, the Vice Chairman of the provincial
People's Committee requests the branches and localities to intensify propaganda
and raise awareness for parents and caretakers of children about the positive
and negative aspects of the network environment for children. Schools need to
teach the use of digital technology to students, organizations to integrate
summer activities tied to the theme of Action Month for Children 2018.
