(HBO) – On 7th of June, Lac Son District People’s Committee held a ceremony to proclaim An Nghia commune achieving a standardized new rural commune. Attending and congratulating the ceremony, there are some leaders of provincial departments and boards as well as a large number of people in commune.

On behalf of the Chairman of the Provincial
People's Committee, the leaders of Department of Transport awarded the
Certificate of standardized new rural commune in 2017 to party committee,
authorities and people of An Nghia commune.
In 7 years, the commune has raised a fund of
over 97,8 billion VND to implement a program of building a new rural commune.
In recent years, the commune has effectively built and processed some models of
production and husbandry in the area, for example of planting citrus, vegetables
and purple cane, and some models of chicken farming, cattle breeds for spawning
and beef cattle with a large scale to develop into farms. The commune is always
interested in promoting production, changing the mechanism of plants, animals
and labour structure, and creating jobs, reducing poverty and improving income
for rural people. At the moment, the average income (per person) in commune is
27,5 million VND, and the rate of poor households decreases to 11,2%. Secondly,
the rate of employment raises over 92% while the rate of trained workers is
40%. Next, the rate of cultural households is 82% and the percentage of people
registering Health Insurance reaches over 95%. As a motto of the government and
people building rural roads, irrigations and electricity together, the schools
has been constructed basically to meet standards to serve people. The field of
culture and society continues developing, and the material and spiritual life
is improving. Also, the political security and social safety is perfectly
stable. Finally, the work of building the party as well as strengthening the
political system is concerned.
Perceiving the efforts of the party
committee, authorities and people of An Nghia commune to build a new rural
commune, the Provincial People’s Committee awarded the Certificate of
standardized new rural commune in 2017 and presented a welfare project worth
450 million VND for An Nghia commune.
On this occasion, Lac Son District People’s
Committee awarded certificates for five collectives and 12 individuals that had
excellent achievements in building An Nghia commune to standardize a new rural
commune. The Commune People’s Committee awarded six collectives and 16
individuals that were positive to contribute to the process of building a new
rural commune in the period of 2011 to 2017.

In recent years, An Nghia commune, located in Lac Son district, has stepped up administrative reform, focusing on improving the quality and efficiency of its single-window service unit for receiving and processing administrative procedures. These improvements have helped create favourable conditions for local residents and organisations to handle administrative procedures, contributing to the commune’s broader socio-economic development.
The Prime Minister-approved master plan to develop the multi-use value of forests ecosystems through 2030, with a vision to 2050, aims to improve the management and sustainable use of forest resources, create jobs, increase incomes, and improve the living standards of ethnic minorities, people in mountainous and remote areas, forest workers and those living near forests.
