(HBO) - Luong Son district has just celebrated the 70th Anniversary Day of President Ho Chi Minh's calling for patriotic emulation (11 June, 1948 – 11 June, 2018) and honored the advanced samples in the patriotic emulation movements in the period of 2016 - 2018.

rewarded to outstanding collectives and individuals
111 advanced models in the patriotic
emulation movements of the district have attended the event. In the past years,
the movements of patriotic emulation in Luong Son district has been accelerated
and developed widely and deeply to create a dynamic emulation of the whole
population. The Party Committee, authorities and people of ethnic groups in
Luong Son district have carried out emulation movements and gained many
excellent achievements in the fields of society – economy, Military and
Security. The economic structure shifted towards increasing the proportion of
services, industry and construction, gradually reducing the proportion of
agriculture. The economy has continued to be stable and has progressed, targets
for budget collection, total retail sales of goods and services, consumption of
food and rate of forest covering have reached and exceeded the target of the
Annual Resolution appointed by the district People's Council.
In the 2016-2018 period, the economic growth
rate of the district has increased, in 2016, state budget revenue reached at
183.2 billion VND, exceeding the target of the Resolution by 21.5%; the average
income per capita reached at 43 million VND per person per year. In 2017, total
state budget revenue in the district reached nearly 185.6 billion VND. The rate
of poor households decreased from 6.43% in 2016 to 4.83% in 2017. The whole
district has 10/19 communes reaching new rural standards.
In order to remark and praise these advanced
typical models, on the occasion of celebrating the 70th Anniversary Day of
President Ho Chi Minh's calling for patriotic emulation, three collectives were
awarded the title of The Best Working Collector by the Chairman of the
Provincial People's Committee in 2017 and 03 individuals were awarded
Certificate of Merit for excellent work in 2016 and 2017.

In recent years, An Nghia commune, located in Lac Son district, has stepped up administrative reform, focusing on improving the quality and efficiency of its single-window service unit for receiving and processing administrative procedures. These improvements have helped create favourable conditions for local residents and organisations to handle administrative procedures, contributing to the commune’s broader socio-economic development.
The Prime Minister-approved master plan to develop the multi-use value of forests ecosystems through 2030, with a vision to 2050, aims to improve the management and sustainable use of forest resources, create jobs, increase incomes, and improve the living standards of ethnic minorities, people in mountainous and remote areas, forest workers and those living near forests.
