HBO – A delegation of Hoa Binh province led by Bui Van Tinh, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, visited the Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park Management Board on July 11.

The
delegation included Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van
Khanh and leaders of several departments and sectors. The delegation was received
by Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Pham Dai Duong, who is also head
of the Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park Management Board.
The working delegation visited and learned about the Hoa Lac
Hi-tech Park model as well as information related to construction and
investment at the park.

Speaking at the working session, Deputy Minister Duong said that
the hi-tech park aims to build a smart scientific city in order to boost
research and development (R&D) activities, step up production and
commercialisation of hi-tech products, support start-ups and develop hi-tech
human resources.
Secretary Tinh introduced the province’s situation, potential and
advantages to the hi-tech park’s leaders. He stressed the need to base on the
province’s potential to intensify cooperation between the two sides to help
locals gain closer access to high technology in all fields.
The application of high technology in managing and processing administrative
procedures will contribute to cutting down time and costs, while improving
efficiency and quality of services, he stressed.
He assigned the Department of Science and Technology to coordinate
joint work between Hoa Binh and the Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park Management Board in
developing high technology in the province.
On this occasion, the delegation visited a plant of the Republic
of Korea’s Hanwha Aero Engines Limited Company, and a software production
project of the Hanoi FPT Software Company./.
