(HBO) – A provincial inspection team led by Bui Van Tinh, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, scrutinized the mid-term review on the implementation of the resolution passed during the provincial Party committee’s 16th Congress for the 2015-2020 tenure in Luong Son district’s Party Committee. The team also included Hoang Van Tu, member of the provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Council.

In the first half of the tenure, Luong Son
completed 10 out of the 17 goals set in the provincial Party Committee’s 16thCongress and 10 out of the 18 targets stated in the resolution of the district
Party Committee’s 25th Congress.
The locality’s economy has developed with
structure transforming positively, while the material and cultural life of
locals improved, and social welfares and policies for revolution contributors implemented
effectively.
The urban and rural conditions have
changed positively. Political-security situation as well as social order and
safety, defence-security have been strengthened. The local Party Committee’s
capacity has been enhanced. The election of deputies to the National Assembly
and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 tenure and the congresses
of political-social organisations in the district were held successfully. The
district has 10 communes recognised as new-style rural areas.
Concluding the working session, Secretary
of the provincial Party Committee Bui Van Tinh recognised achievements by the
district, highlighting a number of major tasks in the coming time. He asked
Luong Son to concentrate on reviewing and building development plans for the
district, basing on its new and growing economic strengths thanks to its
location near the national highway and many industrial parks. The district
should foster cooperation with provincial agencies to improve investment
attraction, expanding urban areas to speed up the urbanization, striving to
become a modern urban area with strong traditional cultural identity, he said.
The provincial leader also asked Luong Son to focus
on the building of new-style rural areas by mobilising all resources to
complete all criteria of the programme that it has yet to finish.
The Standing Board of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee met on March 18 to review and guide major investment projects aimed at boosting local socio-economic development.

Replacing substandard houses with more sturdy ones by June 30 is the direction given by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee, at a meeting held in early March by the provincial Steering Committee for the programme to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for the needy.
