HBO – The Hoa Binh Technical and Economic College has organised a ceremony to kick off the 2018-2019 academic year and celebrate the 36th anniversary of Vietnam Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982-2018).

of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs presents emulation flag to the Hoa Binh
Technical and Economic College, which led colleges and professional vocational
schools in the province in the 2017-2018 academic year.
In the
2017-2018 academic year, with the attention of agencies at all levels and the direct
direction of the provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs
and the Department of Education and Training, the school excellently fulfilled
all assigned tasks. Specifically, it trained and cooperated with other
establishments in training 46 classes with 1,498 students, including 31 regular
classes with 741 students, 555 students pursuing tertiary and postgraduate
courses; and 203 students following vocational and short-term courses. In
addition, the college actively offered training to improve capacity for local officials.
Over 80 percent students after graduating from secondary schools and vocational
schools were classified. The college’s teaching and learning quality improved
continuously. Over the past year, the school provided 299 technicians,
bachelors and masters. It had 39 teachers surpassing teaching standards, or
71.2 percent of total. Equipment serving teaching and learning was invested.
The college and mass organisations maintained and well implemented emulation
movements.
In the 2018-2019 academic year, the college will strive to be a leading unit in
the emulation movement of the bloc of colleges and professional vocational schools
in the province. It targets to enroll 500 students for regular classes,
cooperate with universities to train about 500 graduates and masters, and
provide primary and short-term courses for 1,000 people.
With its achievements made in the 2017-2018 academic year, the provincial
People’s Committee presented an emulation flag to the college, which led the
emulation movement of the bloc of colleges and professional vocational schools
in the province, and certificates of merit to three individuals.
The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs granted certificates of
merit to one collective and six individuals. On the occasion, the Red Cross
Society of Hoa Binh city presented 16 gift packages and Mobifone gave 10 others
to the school’s disadvantaged students./.

In recent years, An Nghia commune, located in Lac Son district, has stepped up administrative reform, focusing on improving the quality and efficiency of its single-window service unit for receiving and processing administrative procedures. These improvements have helped create favourable conditions for local residents and organisations to handle administrative procedures, contributing to the commune’s broader socio-economic development.
The Prime Minister-approved master plan to develop the multi-use value of forests ecosystems through 2030, with a vision to 2050, aims to improve the management and sustainable use of forest resources, create jobs, increase incomes, and improve the living standards of ethnic minorities, people in mountainous and remote areas, forest workers and those living near forests.
