(HBO) - Bui Van Tinh, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Party Committee of Hoa Binh province, on December 21 inspected the progress of the road 435 repair and upgrade project.
The project was approved by the provincial People's
Committee under Decision No.1644/QD-UBND dated on August 30, 2017. Its total
investment is 756 billion VND.
The work on the project started in May 2018 and it is expected to be completed by
November 2020. It is designed fora maximumspeed of 60km per hour. The starting point of the 21.1km road is Binh Thanh T-junction and its
ending point is in Liem hamlet, Ngoi Hoa
commune, Tan Lac district.

After inspecting the project, Secretary of the
provincial Party Committee Bui Van Tinh highlighted the significance of the project,
saying that it will open opportunities to attract more investment and promote
socio-economic development of communes in the region, as well as help the province
fully tap the potential of Hoa Binh lake for tourism development.
The authorities of Cao Phong and Tan Lac districts and
communes in the project area need to grasp the importance of the project to
well carry out the land clearance work, he said.
Tinh also emphasised the necessity to well disseminate
the province’s policies related to compensation, support and resettlement, thus
creating consensus among local people so that the site could be handed over to the
investor soon to ensure the construction progress on schedule.
He also asked the investor to strengthen
inspection and supervision to ensure the progress and quality of the project, thereby completing the road before September 2020 to welcome the 17th Congress of the
provincial Party Organisation for the 2020-2025 ternure./.
