(HBO) – The provincial public security sector recently held a conference to review its 2018 work and launch 2019 tasks. Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Quang attended the event.

The provincial public
security force offered effective consultancies to the local Party Committee and
authorities to pool collective power of the political system and people from
all walks of life in ensuring social security and order. Hence, political
security was kept stable without any demonstrations or social disturbances. The
people’s security posture became solid while crimes and traffic accidents were
kept under control, making active and effective contributions to the
fulfillment of local socio-economic development tasks.
The campaign "All people
safeguard national security” continued to be stepped up with a total of 108 self-defence
models and 8,754 member units. The provincial police set up 60 models of good mass
mobilisation that operate practically and effectively. Other works in public
security and order were ensured.
Speaking at the event,
Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Quang lauded efforts
of the provincial police over the past year.
He suggested that they
should take 10 measures as agreed at the conference, closely follow the action
programme, diversify solutions to protecting security and order, improve the
quality of consultancy to local leaders, and well perform State management on
security and order.
On the occasion, the
provincial public security sector’s Logistics-Engineering Office was honored
with the National Defence Order, second class. The Staff Office received a
certificate of merit from the Ministry of Public Security, three collectives
received the emulation flag from the Ministry of Public Security while the
provincial public security sector conferred the title of "determined-to-win unit”
on nine collectives./.

Replacing substandard houses with more sturdy ones by June 30 is the direction given by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee, at a meeting held in early March by the provincial Steering Committee for the programme to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for the needy.
Recognising digital transformation as an inevitable trend, authorities and agencies in Hoa Binh have made great efforts in the work by focusing on three core pillars - digital government, digital society, and digital economy, resulting in enhanced competitiveness, improved investment climate, and ensured economic and social welfare.
In recent years, Da Bac district has improved administrative reform with a one-stop shop mechanism, streamlined inter-agency procedures, and a shift to digital platforms. These efforts have enhanced public service efficiency and contributed to local socio-economic development.
