(HBO) – The Cao Phong district People’s Committee recently organised a conference to review work of emulation and commendation, carry out Party building tasks, and launch the national patriotic emulation campaign in 2019.

People’s Committee present awards to organisations and individuals who have
excellent achievements in the national patriotic emulation campaign in 2018.
Last year, the emulation and commendation work
was launched in all sectors and saw the participation of people from all walks
of life, making contributions to fulfilling local socio-economic criteria.
The district witnessed an economic growth of 11.8 percent while the economic
structure shifting was on the right track, with the agro-forestry-fishery
sector accounting for 44.5 percent of the GDP, industry-handicraft-construction
29 percent and tourism-services 26.5 percent. Income per capita reached 45.7
million VND. In addition, improvements were seen in culture, social welfare and
security-defence.
At the event, the national patriotic emulation campaign in 2019 was launched
under the theme "Local Party Committee, authority, armed forces, business
community and people strengthen solidarity and create breakthrough to realise
socio-economic development mission in 2019.
On the occasion, Cao Phong district presented the third-class Labour Order to
one organisation, the Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit to one individual, the
Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee’s Certificates of Merit to 15
organisations, the district’s Certificates of Merits to 14 businesses,
cooperatives and excellent business households, 45 organisations and 200
individuals for their brilliant performance in the national patriotic emulation
campaign in 2018./.

Replacing substandard houses with more sturdy ones by June 30 is the direction given by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee, at a meeting held in early March by the provincial Steering Committee for the programme to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for the needy.
Recognising digital transformation as an inevitable trend, authorities and agencies in Hoa Binh have made great efforts in the work by focusing on three core pillars - digital government, digital society, and digital economy, resulting in enhanced competitiveness, improved investment climate, and ensured economic and social welfare.
In recent years, Da Bac district has improved administrative reform with a one-stop shop mechanism, streamlined inter-agency procedures, and a shift to digital platforms. These efforts have enhanced public service efficiency and contributed to local socio-economic development.
