HBO - The Hoa Binh provincial People’s Committee held a working session on March 13 to examine the implementation of some key projects in Yen Thuy district. Vice Chairman of the committee Bui Van Khanh chaired the meeting.
At
the event, the People’s Committee of Yen Thuy district reported on the
compensation and support for site clearance at Lac Thinh Industrial Park. It
also asked for permission for making adjustment to the general plan on building
the communal-level town of Hang Tram until 2030, with a vision to 2040.
Regarding the site clearance for the
construction of a road linking Ho Chi Minh Road and National Highway 12B with
National Highway 1 in Yen Thuy district, Vice Chairman Khanh asked the local
administration to coordinate with the investor and contractors to pay
compensation in line with regulations.

In terms of the area where FLC Group surveyed and
considered to make an investment in, he asked the provincial Department of
Construction to permit Yen Thuy district to adjust the general plan on building
Hang Tram town, adding that the work must be accelerated. He also told the
Department of Finance to prioritise funding for the plan implementation since
this is a big project that will help create a facelift for Yen Thuy district,
as well as Hoa Binh province.
The Standing Board of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee met on March 18 to review and guide major investment projects aimed at boosting local socio-economic development.

The northern province of Hoa Binh, with over 467,000 hectares of natural forest and more than 100,000 hectares of production forest, holds significant potential for carbon credit market development.
Replacing substandard houses with more sturdy ones by June 30 is the direction given by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee, at a meeting held in early March by the provincial Steering Committee for the programme to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for the needy.
