(HBO) - Currently, the power supply for Hoa Binh province is sourced from 110 kV stations and seven small-scaled hydro power plants. Hoa Binh Power Company has paid special attention to stable and safe supply of power during flood season.

 

Meticulous preparations have been made to mitigate storms and floods’ impact on assets and power equipment and grid. The firm will work to resolve grid power problems in a timely manner to ensure adequate electricity for the customers. Priority is given to the fight against natural calamities and the easing of the consequences caused by natural disasters to the electricity grid.

The entire local power grid was checked before the stormy season while back-up equipment was prepared in case of need. Plans have been worked out for emergencies, and stores and workshops checked to meet the requirement of mobilization when necessary. A task force has been set up to move documents and back-up material to safe place in preparation against flash floods as well as to deal with power problems.

The firm has asked its members to enhance inspection of the power grid, transform stations and lightning protection system, and outline plans for urgent repair. Frequent reports on the findings of the inspections and measures to be apply to solve the problems will be made in preparation against overloads./.
