(HBO) – The Tax Department of Hoa Binh province is set to merge 11 tax offices into six regional ones.
The move aims to gradually streamline the
apparatus, reduce points of contact and improve efficiency of tax management in
the locality, as well as to create favourable conditions for taxpayers to
contribute to the State budget.
The Ministry of Finance on August 28 issued
Decision No. 1678/QD-BTC on the establishment of regional tax sub-departments
following the merger of provincial tax offices.
Accordingly, the province tax department
will merge 11 tax offices into six regional sub-departments.
In districts without regional tax offices,
the provincial tax department will arrange the sector which receives and
handles administrative records to team up with functional agencies at the district
level in collecting tax and addressing tax administrative procedures through
the single-window mechanism./.

Replacing substandard houses with more sturdy ones by June 30 is the direction given by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee, at a meeting held in early March by the provincial Steering Committee for the programme to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for the needy.
