(HBO) – The organising board of the Culture and Tourism Week of Hoa Binh organised the final round of the Muong land beauty contest 2019 on November 16, with the participation of 50 contestants selected from the preliminary.

25 outstanding finalists were chosen to compete at the final slated for December 9.
The contest, part of the province’s Culture
and Tourism Week 2019, aims to honour the values and beauty of girls in the
land of the Muong ethnic group and the beauty of the land and people of Hoa
Binh in general.
It is also designed to conserve and
introduce the traditional culture of ethnic groups in the province and promote
Hoa Binh’s time-honoured culture to friends in other provinces and abroad.
The winner will receive training to become
the brand ambassador of the province in the fields of culture and tourism.
At the final round, contestants went
through a photo session, catwalk performance, and self-introduction in Muong
people’s traditional costume and the traditional Vietnamese ao dai.
Afterwards, 25 outstanding finalists were
chosen to compete at the final slated for December 9. From December 1 to 9, they
will attend training courses and charity projects in the districts of Cao
Phong, Tan Lac, Kim Boi, Lac Son, Da Bac and Hoa Binh city.
The final night is scheduled to take place
on December 9 at the province’s cultural centre.
The Standing Board of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee met on March 18 to review and guide major investment projects aimed at boosting local socio-economic development.

Replacing substandard houses with more sturdy ones by June 30 is the direction given by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee, at a meeting held in early March by the provincial Steering Committee for the programme to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for the needy.
Recognising digital transformation as an inevitable trend, authorities and agencies in Hoa Binh have made great efforts in the work by focusing on three core pillars - digital government, digital society, and digital economy, resulting in enhanced competitiveness, improved investment climate, and ensured economic and social welfare.
In recent years, Da Bac district has improved administrative reform with a one-stop shop mechanism, streamlined inter-agency procedures, and a shift to digital platforms. These efforts have enhanced public service efficiency and contributed to local socio-economic development.
