(HBO) - On November 23, Cao Phong District People's Committee held the 5th Cao Phong orange festival and Cao Phong district trade fair 2019.


The provincial leaders and people visit and enjoy Cao Phong orange.

In 2014, Cao Phong orange became the first agricultural product of Hoa Binh province to be granted a protected geographical indication. Currently, citrus trees in Cao Phong district are grown with high-yield and high-quality varieties meeting VietGAP standards.

Festival and fair this time with the desire to promote the achievements, promote Cao Phong orange brand on the market inside and outside Hoa Binh province. At the festival witnessed the launch of Cao Phong orange business and production association.

Participating in the Festival, there are 74 stalls, with products displayed as oranges, grapefruit, lemons, tangerines, purple sugarcane, cuisine, seedlings, agricultural products of Cao Phong district and other districts in the province. The district trade fair has 120 general trade stalls and food court.

Speaking at the Festival of Mr. Ngo Van Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Hoa Binh Party Committee congratulated Cao Phong Party Committee, authorities and people of all ethnic groups in the achievement of building and developing Cao Phong orange brand. He emphasized that in the long-term development orientation of Hoa Binh province, agriculture plays an important role. Accordingly, departments and agencies take Cao Phong orangeas a model for agricultural production development for broad replication. Accompanying with farmers in developing sustainable agriculture. Farmers in the province need to promote the branding, improve the quality of luggage and move into modern agriculture.
