(HBO) - A delegation of the provincial administration led by Bui Van Tinh, Party Central Committee member and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, paid Tet visits to the families of late provincial officials in Kim Boi district and Hoa Binh city. They also presented Tet gifts to war invalids, poor households and Agent Orange/dioxin victims in Kim Boi.

Bui Van Tinh, Party Central Committee member and Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, extends New Year greetings to veteran revolutionary Nguyen Huu Tin at his home in Phuong Lam ward (Hoa Binh city).

In Kim Boi district, the provincial Party Committee Secretary and the delegation called at the homes of two provincial officials who have passed away – former secretary of the provincial Party Committee Bui Van Kin in Binh Son commune, and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council Bui Van Nom in Dong Bac commune. At the late officials’ houses, the delegation offered incense in memory of the late officials, and presented gifts to their families.

The delegation visited two war invalids: Bui Xuan Hop in Thao Ca hamlet (Vinh Tien commune), and Bui Xuan Hien in Go Mu hamlet (Kim Tien commune). The provincial Party chief wished the war invalids better health so that they can continue to work for their own families as well as society.

The delegation also presented Tet gifts to 30 needy families in Binh Son commune and 50 families of revolutionary contributors, AO/dioxin victims in Kim Boi district. Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Bui Van Tinh affirmed that all-level Party committees and administrations in the province have taken care of social welfare beneficiaries and needy people through specific acts. He wished the families a happy Lunar New Year and encouraged them to continue with efforts to better their life. The official also requested Kim Boi authorities to ensure that all needy people in the district to have a sufficient and happy Lunar New Year festival.

During their visit to Kim Boi, the delegation laid flowers and lit incense in tribute of President Ho Chi Minh at the relic site of the late President’s visit to Kim Boi Party Committee office on September 19, 1964.

In the afternoon the same day, the Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and the working delegation visited the home of Nguyen Huu Tin in Phuong Lam ward (Hoa Binh province). The veteran revolutionary has made great contributions to the revolutionary movement in Hoa Binh province.

The delegation also extended Tet greetings to Nguyen Nhieu Coc, a former member of the Party Central Committee and former Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, at his home in Cham Mat ward.

Later, the delegation visited and presented Tet gifts to the scout company – the staff section under the provincial Military Command.

Hoa Binh determined to eliminate temporary, dilapidated houses by June 30
