(HBO) - The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) of Hoa Binh province held a ceremony on May 19 to honour outstanding youths for following Uncle Ho’s teachings in 2020.

provincial Party Committee’s Board for Mass Mobilisation and 19 outstanding
youths.

As part of the programme, the
standing board of the provincial HCYU Committee held a number of meaningful
activities such as offering incense and flowers at President Ho Chi Minh
Monument at Hoa Binh hydropower plant, screening of a documentary about the
life and revolutionary career of the late leader, holding music performances
extolling the Party and the beloved Uncle Ho, presenting gifts to poor children
at Long Thanh private vocational centre in Hoa Binh city.
The honorees were officials and
youth union members with good moral virtues and achievements in work and study,
active involvement in social activities, prestige and influence in society.
Speaking at the event, Tuan
lauded youth union officials for actively suggesting activities that suit the local
socio-economic situation and achieving encouraging results. In particular, the implementation
of the Politburo’s Decree No. 05 on stepping up the campaign on studying and
following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and lifestyle has become a
regular task of each youth union official and member.
Via youth campaigns on following
Uncle Ho’s teachings, effective and creative models at the grassroots have
appeared. Apart from sharing advantages and disadvantages, Tuan hoped to
inspire young people, especially 19 outstanding ones, to continue further
striving to take practical actions to contribute to the province./.
The Standing Board of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee met on March 18 to review and guide major investment projects aimed at boosting local socio-economic development.

The northern province of Hoa Binh, with over 467,000 hectares of natural forest and more than 100,000 hectares of production forest, holds significant potential for carbon credit market development.
Replacing substandard houses with more sturdy ones by June 30 is the direction given by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee, at a meeting held in early March by the provincial Steering Committee for the programme to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for the needy.
Recognising digital transformation as an inevitable trend, authorities and agencies in Hoa Binh have made great efforts in the work by focusing on three core pillars - digital government, digital society, and digital economy, resulting in enhanced competitiveness, improved investment climate, and ensured economic and social welfare.
In recent years, Da Bac district has improved administrative reform with a one-stop shop mechanism, streamlined inter-agency procedures, and a shift to digital platforms. These efforts have enhanced public service efficiency and contributed to local socio-economic development.
