(HBO) - One day at the end of May, the members of the Thien Nguyet – Blue Shirt Volunteer Club (Hoa Binh City) went to the Provincial General Hospital to present gifts supporting the prevention and control of Covid-19 pandemics.

The leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front are getting donations to the Provincial Fund of Covid-19 Prevention and Control from ABIC Hanoi and Agribank in Hoa Binh branch.

During this new Covid-19 outbreak, the club has mobilized and donated 330 boxes of "Corona Covid-19” to the frontline officers of the province and Hoa Binh city. These are the antibacterial nano salt tablets for disinfecting the mouth, the throat and the outer skin, worth about 360 thousand VND a box.

Dr. Nguyen Hoang Dieu, the Director of the Provincial General Hospital said: Over the past time, the hospital has received the spiritual encouragement and material and the equipment support from the leaders at all levels, many other appropriate authorities, the benefactors, the volunteer groups inside and outside the province. From the negative pressure rooms, the ventilators, the industrial washing machines to face masks, the antiseptic solutions, the medical protective gears... All of these supports have been contributing effectively to the fight against "Covid enemy”. If there had been no support of the washing and drying machine system from An Thinh Group, the hospital would have been overloaded and overflown with the laundry. As the hospital has been assigned to wash, dry and process the linen of the concentrated isolation areas of the province, Hoa Binh city since Covid-19 cases appeared.

Since Covid-19 pandemics appeared in our country, responding to the Fatherland Front's call supporting the pandemics prevention and control at all levels, regardless of the gender, the age, the social class, every person and family have supported with the concrete and practical activities. In 2020, responding to the campaign to support COVID-19 prevention and control by the Provincial Fatherland Front, there were more than 800 units, collectives and individuals inside and outside the province participating in donations with money and goods worth over 12 billion VND. The Provincial Fatherland Front promptly distributed money, goods and necessities to the units participating in the pandemic prevention and control, especially the frontline units, contributing to repel it.

The kind hearts and the beautiful actions have created a ripple effect in the community, demonstrating the solid solidarity of the whole people. Whenever the Fatherland, the homeland is in danger, the spirit of patriotism, joining hands and contributing energy burns again. This is a good tradition of our people in general, and the ethnic minorities in Hoa Binh province in particular. Along with the supporting measures to prevent the disease, the collectives and the individuals also promptly provided material support to fight the pandemics.

The isolation area in Song Da Vocational College in Thinh Lang ward (Hoa Binh city), where there are 38 children who are F1, they have received gifts such as milk, cakes, and they have been facilitated with learning tools and books. The blockade area of group 15, Dong Tien ward (Hoa Binh city) have been supported with necessities such as rice, vegetables, medical masks, antiseptic solutions, fish sauce, main noodles, shrimp noodles… by unions and "the relatives” in the Doc Lap highland. The initial worries of the people in the isolation area have been relieved by the love, the care, the sharing and support of the authorities and the local people. As a result, they have been assured to abide the regulations to soon repel the pandemics. The officials, the soldiers wearing military ranks and the soldiers wearing blouses on duty at the quarantine areas in Hoa Binh city, as well as in the districts of the province have also timely received the words of encouragement and gifts. Although the gift may not be great, it is just a bottle of water, a package of instant noodles, but the package in it is the meaning of the compatriots. Whatever it is, they have liked and they have been trying their best to overcome all difficulties. That is the spirit of the nation, the spirit of Vietnam!

Mr. Tran Duc Truong, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front said: the total amount of money donated to the Provincial Fund of Covid-19 Prevention and Control has been over VND 2.8 billion up to 26th May. Recently, there have been units supported and registered to support through the Provincial Fatherland Front. The Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee hopes to continue receiving the support from collectives, individuals and benefactors inside and outside the province to have more resources for the pandemic prevention and control. It has been committed that the money received will be transferred to the fund and they will allocate the support in a timely manner, in accordance with regulations, to the right subjects, contributing to "winning Covid-19 enemy”.
