(HBO) – The provincial Party Committee and People's Committee have urged departments, branches and localities to accelerate administrative reform, urgently set up hotlines to receive petitions from businesses and people in the implementation of administrative procedures, towards the goal of improving the business environment and the province's ranking in the Provincial Competitive Index by at least three places a year.

 The one-stop desk of the administration of Thong Nhat ward (Hoa Binh city) facilitates citizens' administrative procedures.


The provincial inspection agency has publicized the hotline numbers and email address to receive complaints and opinions from individuals, organizations and enterprises (phone number: 02183.882.609) at its headquarters. The email address is at: duongdaynong.ttt@hoabinh.gov.vn.

The hotline has been informed to all departments, divisions, branches, districts and cities.

 

Heads of departments, agencies, and chairpersons of People's Committees of districts and cities have directed specialized agencies to publicize the phone numbers and email addresses of their headquarters and offices where they receive citizen or applications of administrative procedures, in order to receive complaints and feedbacks of citizens and enterprises. Corruptive acts of civil servants in handling administrative procedures are strictly punished, contributing to improving the PCI ranking as well as the scores of the index's components, especially informal costs.

The hotlines will also receive feedbacks on negative behaviours of civil servants including refusing to handle procedures or handling not in line with regulations; delaying the handling of administrative procedures in violation of regulations; delaying settlement of administrative procedures beyond stipulated time; failing to set specific deadline to return the results of administrative procedures settlement; demanding additional dossiers, papers and procedures outside of regulations;requiring people, businesses, and investors to pay expenses outside the regulations; showing a lack of responsibility, causing difficulties for citizens and enterprises, taking advantage of their assigned job positions for personal gain./.
