(HBO) – Representatives of the People’s Committee of Hoa Binh province and FPT joint Stock Company signed a cooperation agreement on digital transformation at a ceremony on November 18.
The signing ceremony was held virtually with the
participation of member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the
provincial Party Committee Ngo Van Tuan, Vice Secretary of the provincial Party
Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh, Vice
Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Chuong,
Chairmanof theBoardofDirectors of FPT Truong Gia Binh,
and representatives from FPT’s member companies.
The signatories were Vice Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and
Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh and
Chairmanof theBoardofDirectors of FPT Truong Gia Binh.

The cooperation agreement aims to support and mobilise the involvement of
stakeholders to accelerate digital transformation in State agencies and
enterprises, and among people in the province, towards soon turning the
locality into one of the leading provinces in the country in terms of digital
transformation with three pillars: digital government, digital economy and
digital society.
The agreement will also promote cooperation in improving capacity on digital
transformation for the sides in accordance with legal regulations.
Under the agreement, the cooperation will focus on support and consultation on
mechanisms, policies, master plans, programmes and plans related to digital
transformation.
The two sides will coordinate in organizing research and implementing solutions
to improve the provincial competitiveness index (PCI), the provincial digital
transformation index (DTI); and support the development of the province's own
digital transformation index for local departments and sectors, People’s
Committees of Hoa Binh city and districts.
FPT will consult and participate in piloting and testing the sandbox model, and
digital transformation solutions and ideas, and support Hoa Binh city’s
authority in building a smart urban development plan, an overall model of
digital transformation, architectural planning, and developing a synchronous
and interconnected database.
The firm will coordinate with local youth organisations to hold training
courses in digital transformation for local young people, pupils and students.
FPT will also support the local authorities in implementing social security
policies, including a programme to provide cheap smartphones for poor and
near-poor households, and human resources development in the sphere of digital
transformation.
Speaking at the event, Chairmanof theBoardofDirectors
of FPT JSC Truong Gia Binh said that FPT commits to investing its best
resources to meet Hoa Binh’s demand of digital transformation.
FPT will consult and introduce the latest technologies and achievements in
digital transformation and information technology to the locality, Binh said.
Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the provincial Party
Committee Ngo Van Tuan expressed the hope that the cooperation agreement will
help the locality improve the quality of human resources, and raise awareness
and knowledge for local officials, people and businesses about digital
transformation.
He suggested the two sides organize their forces and build a specific
implementation plan, and set a timeline for each task to complete and meet the
province’s goals set out in the Resolution of the 17th Congress of the
provincial Party Committee.
He expressed his belief that with FPT's experience and reputation plus the
province’s determination and aspiration to rise up, the two sides would well
accomplish the set goals.
He asked the provincial People's Committee to closely direct and fully
implement commitments to effectively implement the agreement./.
