(HBO) – Hoa Binh 2 Bridge crossing Da River is expected to ease burden on nearby Hoa Binh bridge and open up larger space for urban development, trade and services in Hoa Binh City, the capital of Hoa Binh province. Contractors are putting final touch on the project before it is put into use this November.

The project is deemed as strategically important to Hoa Binh City. The bridge, which has total investment of nearly, is 780 metres in length and up to 24 metres in width. Connecting Dong Tien and Thinh Lang communes, the project aims to reduce congestion on Hoa Binh Bridge during rush hours.
Engineer Tran Van Tri said the project is facing difficulties in site clearance in some locations on Tran Hung Dao and Cu Chinh Lan streets and the project management board has asked local administration to accelerate the progress of the site clearance for the project soon to be completed.
Construction of the project started in late 2019./.
The Standing Board of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee met on March 18 to review and guide major investment projects aimed at boosting local socio-economic development.
