(HBO) - With a goal of mobilising resources to support organisations and individuals to invest in and develop industrial and handicraft production, industrial encouragement has received special attention in recent years.

From the industrial encouragement budget, 3T Farm cooperative invests in an orange cleaning machine, helping to ensure the fruit is good in quality and beautiful in design.

Choosing its own direction with high-class oranges recognised as a 4-star OCOP product at the provincial level, 3T Cao Phong Agricultural Cooperative (3T Farm) gradually affirms its foothold on the domestic and foreign markets.

Director of the cooperative Vu Thi Le Thuy shared: "This year, great joy comes to the cooperative when the province and the Department of Industry and Trade provided financial support from the industrial encouragement fund so that the cooperative invested in an orange washing machine, an ozone generator, and fruit rubbing machine and dryer. This is a very practical investment, with modern machinery, we can clean 500 - 800 kg of oranges in just one hour. In particular, not only reducing the time and efforts of many people, but with this machinery system, oranges are cleaned and dried without losing the essential oil on their peel, thus helping ensure good quality and beautiful design, and increase the value."

like 3T Farm, this year, many businesses, cooperatives, and business households benefit from industrial encouragement projects. In recent years, industrial encouragement programmes and activities have contributed to promoting industrial and handicraft production and arousing the potential of a number of industries with development advantages in the province. In the 2016-2020 period, from the industrial promotion budget, 31 projects have been supported with a total capital of 30.5 billion VND, of which 6.5 billion VND comes from the central budget, 2.45 billion VND from the local budget, and 21.57 billion VND is paid by industrial establishments.

According to Bui Xuan Hung, Deputy Director of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade, industrial promotion programmes have encouraged many rural industrial establishments to orient their investments properly and effectively, expand production and business and increase competitiveness in the market, thus helping them develop sustainably and gradually participate in international economic integration.

In order to strengthen the responsibility of authorities in directing, and coordinating in industrial encouragement activities, the provincial People's Committee has issued Plan No. 156/KH-UBND, dated August 10, 2021 on promoting industrial promotion activities to create new impetus for the development of the industry in the province's rural areas in the 2021 – 2025 period.

One of the important contents directed by the provincial People's Committee is to increase capital from the provincial and district budgets to organise the implementation of industrial encouragement activities in the locality in accordance with the national-level and local-level industrial encouragement programmes, and at the same time mainstream the implementation of targeted programmes in the locality to increase the effectiveness of industrial promotion activities, and mobilise domestic and foreign resources to invest in industrial and handicraft production in rural areas./.
