(HBO) - Over recent years, Lac Son district has focused on renovating the leadership and management of administrative reform from the district to grassroots levels and improving the operational quality of administration apparatuses at all levels. Administrative discipline and responsibility of cadres and civil servants in performing their duties have been strengthened towards building a democratic and modern administration, contributing to enhancing the efficiency of State management as well as promoting socio-economic development in the locality.

administrative results.
To improve the effectiveness of administrative reform, every year, the district
People's Committee evaluates and publicises the administrative reform index for
the People's Committees of communes and townships. Attention has been paid to
people’s satisfaction to the service of departments, units, People's Committees
of communes and townships.
The district has defined administrative reform as one of the breakthrough
solutions in socio-economic development. In 2021, the district solved on time 6,935 out of the 7,419
dossiers submitted and the remaining ones were being processed.
Pham Van Tuan, a resident of Vu Ban township, said he went to the
district’s one-stop shop to register the business licence for the first time
and got it three days later.
"We find that the settlement of administrative procedures is quick and it does
take much time since the one-stop shop was put into operation,” he said, adding
that he was enthusiastically guided by its staff. Bui Van Linh, Chairman of the district People's Committee, said in 2021 the
organisation of State apparatus was reviewed and streamlined. Staff underwent
training to improve their professional skills together with the application of
information technology from the district to the commune level. All dossiers are handled on the system. It takes only a few hours to complete
paperwork that previously took 2-3 days, he said.
In the coming time, the district will continue to tighten discipline, improve
the responsibility and attitude to serve the people, only qualified and capable
cadres are employed to promote efficiency to the highest level.
The settlement of administrative procedures at the one-stop shop will be
supervised regularly to ensure publicity, transparency and efficiency in order
to create satisfaction of people and businesses.
The district will also strengthen processing dossiers in the network
environment, standardise the process of receiving and distributing documents
towards the goal of "paperless" administration, he said./.
