(HBO) – The Department of Home Affairs of Hoa Binh province held the second conference on exchange among local outstanding examples in Mai Chau district. Attending the event were leaders of the provincial Department of Home Affairs, the provincial Council of Emulation and Commendation, the district People’s Committee and 40 outstanding examples of 10 districts and Hoa Binh city.

Following President Ho Chi Minh’s teaching "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism
must be expressed through emulation”, the standing board of the provincial
Council of Emulation and Commendation worked with departments and agencies to
provide consultancy for the provincial People’s Committee about the effective
launch of patriotic emulation movements in the province.
The movements attracted a large
number of officials, soldiers, cadres and civil servants, workers, people from
walks of life and business community, making a strong change in awareness and
action and encouraging officials, Party members and people from all walks of
life to accomplish political and socio-economic development tasks.
The board also reviewed outstanding example models and advised the provincial
People’s Committee to popularise and multiply 125 models in social aspects and
introduce 103 models on emulation and reward magazine and State media outlets.
The conference afforded outstanding examples a chance to learn from experience
in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality and
lifestyle, honour and spread outstanding models chosen from units and
localities to strengthen the great national unity bloc, self-reliance will and
encourage aspirations for rising up among local ethnic groups.

The northern province of Hoa Binh, with over 467,000 hectares of natural forest and more than 100,000 hectares of production forest, holds significant potential for carbon credit market development.
Replacing substandard houses with more sturdy ones by June 30 is the direction given by Nguyen Phi Long, alternate member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Hoa Binh provincial Party Committee, at a meeting held in early March by the provincial Steering Committee for the programme to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for the needy.
Recognising digital transformation as an inevitable trend, authorities and agencies in Hoa Binh have made great efforts in the work by focusing on three core pillars - digital government, digital society, and digital economy, resulting in enhanced competitiveness, improved investment climate, and ensured economic and social welfare.
In recent years, Da Bac district has improved administrative reform with a one-stop shop mechanism, streamlined inter-agency procedures, and a shift to digital platforms. These efforts have enhanced public service efficiency and contributed to local socio-economic development.
