(HBO) – The year of 2022 concluded with Hoa Binh’s outstanding performance in completing targets and tasks for the year, laying the foundation for the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 17th provincial Party Congress, ensuring the fast and sustainable development of the province.

During the year, many resolutions, action plans and projects were issued, along with the strict supervision of their implementation.

As part of efforts to realise the Resolution of the 17th provincial Party Congress, in 2022, Hoa Binh city applied many measures to become a second-tier city before 2025. Ngo Ngoc Duc, Secretary of the city Party Committee said that so far, the city’s urbanisation rate has reached 78.72%, with strongly developing infrastructure system.

Meanwhile, Tan Lac district has focused on directing programmes in developing agriculture and rural areas, promoting typical agricultural products of the locality, while rolling out measures to facilitate socio-economic development and preserve the cultural identity of local ethnic minority groups.

At the same time, the district's Party Committee directed concerted efforts to attract more investment, develop urban areas, speed up ground clearance, and promote personnel training.

In 2022, strong performance was seen in all aspects, including Party and political system building, personnel work, while the leadership capacity and combativeness of the district's Party organisation was strengthened. Targets in economic growth, State budget collection, urban development, poverty reduction, social welfare, health care, education-training, and socio-culture were completed.

The completion of major tasks and breakthroughs opened up new opportunities for the province to further develop. Hoa Binh has so far completed the provincial master plan with a vision to 2050 and submitted it to the Prime Minister and the Government for approval.

Under the Resolution of the 17th provincial Party Congress, Hoa Binh aims to become a leading locality in the northern midland and mountainous region in terms of economy in 2030. In 2050, the province is expected to become a developed province of the country.

The provincial Party Committee has focused on directing the implementation of projects in infrastructure development, administrative reform, business environment, while assigning local leaders to directly supervise particular projects to ensure their progress, contributing to making bright spots in the implementation of the 17th provincial Party Congress./.
