(HBO) - In the morning of February 16, the Provincial Women's Union organized the program responding to planting 1 billion trees "For a green Vietnam” at Ngoi communal house, Quynh Lam ward (Hoa Binh city). There was the attention of Mr. Bui Duc Hinh, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; the representatives of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union, the emulation cluster of the provinces in the Northern Midlands and Mountains.

After the incense offering
ceremony at Ngoi communal house, the delegation planted trees at Ngoi communal
house with the main plants being michelia and lagerstroemia speciosa. Also,
within the framework of the program, the delegation offered incense at Uncle
Ho's Monument and visited the tourism model of women's members within the are
of Hoa Binh lakebed.
Responding to the "The tree
planting festival in eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho” in the spring of Quy Mao in
2023 and the tree planting movement with the theme "Women cultivate the future
- for the benefit of ten years of planting trees, for the benefit of one
hundred years of cultivating people”, 100% of the Women's Union at the
districts’ and the city’s levels in the province held the launching ceremony
and directed the Women's Union at the grassroots level to implement it. This is
one of the meaningful and practical activities to realize the goal of planting
1 billion trees by 2025 according to the Prime Minister's initiative, making an
important contribution to changing the face of urban and rural areas, bringing
a green, clean and beautiful living environment, fulfilling the criteria of the
civilized city, the model new countryside and the enhanced new countryside.
