(HBO) - The Party Committee of Tan Lac district has 36 Party organisations and cells with 6,447 members. Following the direction of the provincial Party Committee, the Standing Board of the Tan Lac district Party Committee has thoroughly grasped and seriously implemented the building of the Party and the political system, and assigned leaders in charge of branches, fields, agencies, and units to direct key tasks and breakthroughs. As a result, remarkable achievements have been gained.

The district Party Committee has built full-term and annual work programmes, and directed Party committees at all levels to concretise them for implementation. Therefore, thematic resolutions and directives on agriculture and rural areas, land management, state budget revenue, Party building, social insurance, site clearance, and security and order have been issued. 

In the first quarter of this year, the district Party Committee well implemented the dissemination work on policies of the Party and State, thereby creating consensus among officials and people in performing political tasks. 

In the period, industrial production, services and trade all increased over the same period last year. To date, Tan Lac has nine out of the 15 communes meeting new-style rural area building standards, and is striving to have one more commune by the end of 2023, and then raise the total number to 12 by 2025. The urbanisation rate reached 28.2%, and the district is implementing an urban development roadmap, with priority given to investing in infrastructure and attracting projects related to commercial housing, and in urban and residential areas. 

Currently, in Man Duc town and Phong Phu commune, there are two ongoing urban investment projects and four others whose procedures are being conducted. Suoi Hoa commune has four resort projects that have got the greenlight from the provincial People's Committee, and four which are being submitted for appraisal and approval with a total registered and adjusted capital of about 2.6 trillion VND (110.8 million USD). Meanwhile, there are six projects totaling over 1 trillion VND under survey in Van Son commune. 

Bui Van Tinh, Chairman of the Tan Lac district People's Committee, said that the district is comprehensively implementing the work of building the Party and the political system; upholding the role of officials and Party members in performing political tasks; carrying out solutions to preserve and develop Muong Bi culture in association with new-style rural area building; and improving the quality of life of locals. Attention is being paid to handling obstacles in site clearance, speeding up the implementation of works and projects in the district, and investing in building urban infrastructure in Man Duc town and Phong Phu commune./.
