(HBO) - With the motto of solidary, proactivity, and efforts to overcome challenges, the Party Committee, authorities, and people of Lac Son district have effectively implemented Resolutions of the 13th Party Congress, the Party Congress of the province and the district in the 2020 - 2025 tenure.


 Sankoh Vietnam Co., Ltd. in Xuat Hoa commune (Lac Son), operating in manufacturing electronic components, generates employment for around 500 workers.


To initiate transformation across various sectors, the district’s Party Committee and its Standing Committee, in their leadership and directive roles, have taken many solutions to implement significant tasks of this term.

With the view that officials are the foundation and the key to all tasks, the district's Party Committee attaches importance to developing the contigent of competent and reputable officials to serve the performance of socio-economic development strategy and ensuring security and defence.

The district has concentrated on synchronously implementing solutions concerning recruitment, training, evaluation, planning, appointment, reassignment, with the aim to have 100% of newly recruited officials at the district and commune levels possess university degrees in the 2021 – 2025.

The district authorities have focused resources to develop infrastructure facilities, especially urban infrastructure, industrial zone and cluster infrastructure, and large-scale and key projects, and those serving electricity and water supply, telecommunications, education, health care, culture and sports.

Since the beginning of the term, the district Party Committee has issued nine resolutions, with five of them to promote economic development, focusing on strengthening land management and land clearance; attracting investment; developing infrastructure and urban areas; tourism development.

Efforts to attract investment inflows have helped the locality promote industry development, thus increasing budget revenue and improving incomes for local residents.

Lac Son is now home to 33 investment projects, including two foreign-invested ones with a total registered investment of over 11.87 trillion VND (over 497 million USD).

The district authority has also paid attention to ensuring social security through implementing national target programmes; implementing strategic breakthroughs in planning work and enhancing the quality of planning management and building; and improving the quality of human resources.

Thanks to tireless efforts, several communes along National Highway 12B have witnessed significant changes in industrial development, with the emergence of large-scale factories and production workshops with modern lines, such as Sankoh Vietnam Co., Ltd in Xuat Hoa commune; Lac Son office of Ho Guom Group JSC, Lac Son Plastic Co., Ltd and Lac Son Electronics Co., Ltd in Vu Ban town.

Outcomes in luring investment, improving infrastructure, and agriculture and rural development in Lac Son have contributed to promoting socio-economic development, improving the living standards of locals, and preserving cultural identities of the locality.

Vice Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of the district Bui Van Kia said the locality is making efforts and proactively overcoming challenges to further promote economic development with higher growth quality in the coming time./.
