Sung A Denh, a prestigious man in Thung Man village, Hang Kia commune (Mai Chau), said: "With the position and responsibility of a village elder, the head of the family, and a reputable person, I have encouraged my family, children and grandchildren to strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws. In the village, there are several households participating in illegal religions. I have encouraged them to comply well with the laws on belief and religion, and preserve the traditions of the Mong ethnic people.”

As a reputable person, respected by local people, Ban Van Than in Duong village, Vay Nua commune (Da Bac), and other reputable people in ethnic minority groups have persuaded descendants in the family and people in the hamlet to voluntarily surrender their weapons to the commune police.
