The office for receiving and responding to public service requests in Phu Cuong currently has four staff members who specialise in dealing with requests in the fields of land-construction, justice - civil status, labour - war invalids and social affairs. All of them have been equipped with the skills to use software and information technology to serve their tasks.

Dinh Cong Thang, one of the four, said that they have strictly implemented the behaviour, communications and working principles with a welcoming attitude, enthusiastically guiding citizens to process administrative procedures as quickly as possible.

Bui Van Son, a resident from Vo village who came to the office to process the procedures for his mortgage contract for land use rights and assets attached to land, said that he received clear guidance, conducted the process quickly and got the results within a day, which saved him a lot of time and efforts.

Along with issuing decisions and plans regarding administrative reforms and popularising the reforms in all fields, the People’s Committee of Phu Cuong has strengthened the application of information technology in management with the use of VNPT iOffice, Hotich.vn software. Regulations, procedures, service fees and duration for processing each type of request are posted publicly in a visible place at the office.

Dinh Cong Kiem, a local in Khanh village, said that when he came to the commune People's Committee, which is quite far from his house, to make marriage registration, he received enthusiastic and quick guidance, enabling him to finish the procedure quickly without having to wait long.

Since 2023, the office has received 4,765 public service applications, of which 4,289 have been handled and the remaining are being processed. Bui Duc Phuong, Chairman of the commune People’s Committee said that each year, the committee has issued administrative reforms and communications plans, while allocating qualified officials to the local office for receiving and responding to public service requests, and regularly updating regulations in the field. The committee has ensured that there is always a leader available for approving administrative procedures for locals, making sure that the procedures are processed in a fast, time and cost saving manner, he said.

The official said that in the coming time, the Phu Cuong People’s Committee will continue to speed up digital transformation in providing public services, while enhancing local officials’ sense of responsibility in performing their duties, thus winning higher confidence and satisfaction of people and businesses, and contributing to boosting local socio-economic development.
