To maintain the criteria of new rural districts and implement the Resolution
to establish Luong Son town, Luong Son district, Hoa Binh province focuses on
building model residential areas and model gardens. This activities help local people
to promote their role in building new rural areas and civilized cities.
Participating in building a model garden model, households in Thanh Ha village, Thanh Cao commune, Luong Son district, Hoa Binh province focused on developing Dien grapefruit trees according to VietGAP standards.
Concrete roads with bright flowers on both sides are the first impression when arriving at Tan Hoa village, Hoa Son commune, Luong Son district, Hoa Binh province. This is the first village of the commune to achieve a model new rural residential area. Tan Hoa village has 127 households, average income per capita reaches 56 million VND/year, no poor households. The village has 3 households meeting model garden standards. Since implementing the program to build new rural areas and model gardens, people have built models of ecological gardens, green - clean - beautiful landscapes, and environmental protection.
The movement to build model residential areas and model gardens has spread widely in Luong Son district, Hoa Binh province and has been actively responded by local people. Up to now, Luong Son district has built 28 model residential areas and 54 model gardens recognized as meeting standards according to Decision No. 2188/QD-UBND, dated September 20, 2018 of the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province. In 2024, communes in the district will continue to build and strive to have at least 2 model new rural residential areas and 3 model gardens by the end of 2024.
Ms. Bui Thi Ninh, Deputy Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Luong Son district said: Carrying out the campaign to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas, Luong Son district is implementing the content of new rural criteria, improved rural districts, new rural areas. Especially building new model rural residential and civilized residential areas. In particular, they focus on content directly related to people's quality of life.
To spread the movement of building model residential areas and model gardens, Luong Son district promotes the role of people, discussing to choose appropriate fields and strengths of the community to strive for a new model rural district.
