chickens
Tuan said that as he recognized that his
hometown has advantages in spacious land, after a while of studying, he decided
to build a model of chicken farm in a 1ha hill area.
At first, he piloted the breeding of 1,000
chickens each brood. However, due to the unfavourable weather conditions and a
lack of experience, the number of healthy chickens was only 800. In the first
year, his family earned 50 million VND as profit.
According to Tuan, raising chickens has some
difficulties, requiring farmers to stay persistent and choose suitable
varieties. Seeing the efficiency of raising chickens on hills, he borrowed
money to broaden the farm. By 2018, Tuan's family had expanded their herd to
nearly 6,000 perbrood.
By applying science and technology, and the
model of semi-caging chicken on acacia hills, Tuan succeeded in producing
chickens with delicious meat of high quality preferred by traders and locals in
the district. In addition to providing broilers, Tuan's family also supplies
eggs and breeding chickens. On average, the family each year raises 2 broods of
broilers and egg-laying chickens with net revenue of over 500 millionVND.
With the strong will and the efforts to
overcome difficulties, Bui Anh Tuan, a local militiaman, sets a good example in
the emulation movement of the armed forces of Kim Boi district in the period of
2012 - 2017. He has been honored as a role model in militia training and
production./.
