(HBO) – In recent years, Youth Union in the district always actively promote the role of assault forces in the youth toward the works of protecting environment and contributing to keep the environment of district which is becoming green, clean and beautiful.

In 2017, the District Youth Union in
collaboration with the District Women’s Union organized the campaign "Three
cleans” associated with the movement "Voluntary Saturday” in Nhan Nghia
commune. On the launching day, they collected 0.5 tons of waste, dredged 0.5 km
of drainage ditches and cleared 800 meters of laneway village. The movement has
spread and become the effective model for environment protection. All of Youth
Union and other associations of communes and towns responded to come out with
Environment Day of all agencies. During the year, Youth Union of district
organized to dredge 1.6 km of ditches, clear 3 km of road, upgrade two standard
latrines, dig four rubbish dumps, collect 4.5 tons of waste, and plant 1507
trees as well as 1 km of flowers road. From the beginning of 2018 to the
present, Lac Son District Youth Union has unitedly collected over one ton of
waste, supported to renew six hygienic toilets and planted over 1000
trees.
In 2018, the district Youth Union has issued
a plan to mobilize the youth to donate for the youth construction at district
level, for example of 130 hygienic toilets. At the same time, it promoted the
propaganda and mobilization: "Youth Union and people protect environment
together”. Also, they strongly condemned disrespecting behaviors for habitat,
put environmental consciousness into social and moral evaluation criteria for
the youth, directed some youth unions of agencies to undertake environmental
criteria in building new rural areas, and continued to promote the
effectiveness of voluntary activities, self-managed roads and
green-clean-beautiful model of the youth.
The Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh province held a conference on March 18 to review the performance of the "Safe and Happy School" Project and set out tasks for 2025. The project, funded by the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families (TFCF), aims to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for students. The event saw the attendance of representatives from the TFCF and 26 beneficiary schools.
