HBO – The two policies, the social insurance and the health insurance have been playing an important role in the country's social security system. The Party and the State have been always paying attention to these two policies and have been considering them as a goal and a driving force for the sustainable development of the country, as well as demonstrating the good nature of the socialism.
According to the statistics of the provincial social insurance sector, the number of people participating in the social insurance and the health insurance has continuously increased in recent years. By the end of 2018, there have been over 76 thousand people participating in the social insurance, over 61,000 people participating in the unemployment insurance in the whole province. After 6 years (from 2012), the number of people participating in the social insurance have increased by nearly 20 thousand people and that of people participating in the unemployment insurance have increased by 17 thousand people.
For health insurance, there were more than 814 thousand people participating, reaching 96.3% of the population by the end of 2018. In particular, 100% of the beneficiary of social welfare, the people with meritorious services to the revolution, the poor, the ethnic minorities, the poverty threshold households, children under 6 years old have been participating regularly. The percentage of school students and students participating in the health insurance reached over 90%, especially the family health insurance increased. Hoa Binh is one of the provinces with a high proportion of people participating in health insurance compared to the average of the whole province.
Along with expanding the number of participants in the social insurance and the health insurance, the social insurance fund also keeps increasing every year, meeting the implementation of the social insurance regimes and policies. The medical examination and treatment benefits of patients with the health insurance cards are always guaranteed and the health insurance fund is used effectively. The number of beneficiaries of the social insurance regimes and policies increases every year. Every year, tens of thousands of workers are enjoyed the regimes and policies of the social insurance such as the subsidization for sickness, maternity, loss of working capacity, difficult allowance and so on. The social insurance regimes and policies are complied with regulations.
Thanks to the regimes and policies of the social insurance and the health insurance, the lives of workers are guaranteed when they reach the age of not having ability to work, when they are sick or when they have the labor accidents and occupational diseases. Therefore, the social insurance regimes and policies have become the spiritual fulcrum of workers.
In addition, the province has also paid attention to investing in medical examination and treatment facilities in the province, creating conditions for non-public health system to participate in health insurance examination and treatment, contributing to overcoming the overload in the hospital at the provincial level. The province is paying attention to the training, fostering professional skills, professional ethics, improving the medical ethics to serve patients of the health sector’s staff, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment for health insurance.
The Department of Education and Training of Hoa Binh province held a conference on March 18 to review the performance of the "Safe and Happy School" Project and set out tasks for 2025.
