(HBO) – Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui Van Khanh on November 11 visited and presented certificates of merit to five organisations and six individuals for their excellent achievements in medical examination work.

On October 21, Bui Van Nhuong, 28, was sent to the provincial General Hospital after falling from an estimated height of 15 metres then hitting a vertical trunk.

Nhuong, a resident of Lac Son district’s Quy Hoa commune, had a respiratory failure, and experienced mixed shock states and multiple organ failure after the accident. However, his life was saved after two weeks of positive treatment at the hospital. He has made good recovery from the injuries, and now can eat by himself.

In order to give timely praise to the medical staff at the provincial General Hospital, the Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee issued snap decision No.2507/QD-UBND on presenting certificates of merit to 11 excellent organisations and individuals for successfully giving emergency aid to Nhuong.

Giving encouragement to the hospital’s doctors and nurses, Khanh expressed his hope that the medical staff will continue efforts to overcome difficulties, improve professional, and apply more advanced technologies in treatment. 

The move aims to develop the hospital as a trustworthy medical examination destination for local people.
